McGowan Custom Builders is a custom residential builder, general contractor and consultant established in 2017. We are based on Charlestown, MA. We have an excellent reputation and track record in the small community that we serve.
What we do…
We focus on mid/high end residential remodels and additions in the $200k-$2M range. These are generally partial or full gut remodels. They may include side additions, adding an additional floor, dormers or roof deck as well as exterior work (Roofing, siding, windows)
Where we work…
We focus primarily on the Charlestown neighborhood as the core of our business and the people of Charlestown as the core demographic of people that we aim to serve. We do, however, get referrals to some great clients in other metro Boston neighborhoods as well. We are located in a 2500 SF office and warehouse space in Charlestown with loading dock and freight elevator. This uniquely allows us to preorder, take delivery, store and organize all materials for our projects until they are needed on site.
